Great Composers and their Music

Raya Lee draws on her experience as a music librarian and concert narrator to present a series of lectures on the lives and music of Mozart, Chopin, Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Gershwin.

The individual lectures offer a summary of each composer's life, from his earliest days through maturity, highlighted by intimate and fascinating detail. The heart of each lecture will feature the composer's most important works.

Exceptional CD recordings will be played of beloved masterworks from the composer's complete catalog. Each lecture will conclude with a discussion of the composer's legacy and influence on the history of music, through to our present day.
